can you feel your pc case vibrate when you touch the top of it?

i can definately feel the vibration produced from my hard drive. does suspending your hard drive(s) decrease almost all vibrations?

Yes. Then again, I have 4 case fans, a PCI slot fan, 3 harddrives, and a Thermaltake A1899 Northbridge blower going full blast. So umm..yeah o.o

I saw the word vibrate on the topic title and naturally I thought I'd come in to see if any chicks posted.

I have a P180, but here's how I completely eliminated vibration in my old 3700AMB (with the grills punched out)

1. Used a fanless PSU
2. Applied acoustipack
3. Bought Nexus fans (max 1000rpm), mounted them on rubber isolators instead of using screws.
4. Placed the hard drive on foam instead of using the drive cage.

Just make sure no moving parts are directly touching the case and you won't have to worry about vibration/resonance noise.

i have the same case. you sure it isnt coming from the hdds? i just did a small test by removing the hdd out the drive cage and felt the top and there was zero vibration.

yes indeed. i have a shuttle sb61g2, these suckers are pretty noisey
