Can you do a one armed pushup & is there any point?

Is it just so you can say "I can do XX amount of one-armed pushups?" Do you really gain anything that you don't get from using both arms?

heh, i can do like 65 pushups in a row, yet I can't do 1 one handed one (that was a lot of 1's)

Shows that there's a point. Doing normal pushups, you're going to reach a point where no matter how much more you increase your ability to do pushups, you're not building strength any more, just muscle endurance. If you switch to 1 handed pushups, you can increase the strength in each arm.
