i was just wondering cuz my roomates in college leave the tv on 24/7 and its annoying as frik.(im screwed im in a 6 person room that has no seperation whatsoever)

alot of the time they aren't even watching the tv and they have it on really loud....i walk over turn it off and they'll turn it back on 5 minutes later and then go sit back at their computer and not even watch it

so thats why i ask is there a way to disrupt the tv signal coming in so maybe they won't leave the tv on all the time?

You would rather listen to white noise?

I think the point is that his roommates wouldn't want to listen to white noise and would turn it off. Though, if they are proactive they might try and fix it...or call someone to fix it...or call the cable company and ask what's up. Either way, that seems like a bad solution. Perhaps just talk to them about it?

There's an easy solution. Lock up your possessions and write "Written by ..." on the walls. :D

There was a slightly overused saying on the forums some time back. It had something to do with a sharp pointy object, I think.
