Can you delete XP Sp2 backup files?

Just wondering, i just used the cd i received in the mail but i must of skipped the part of not backing up my files and such. Is there a proper way to uninstall or delete the backup files?

Yep, you can just delete them. Keep in mind if you have a SP2 issue, or just want to get rid of it, you won't be able to once you delete the folder.

I always delete them and never had a problem. YMMV.

There's a $uninstall and a ServicePackFiles folder in windows...can i delete them both?
