Do you cook and do you do it well? What's your specialty?

I can cook steak, spagetti, salads, a few other things, and my specialty is steak. I'm not great, but I'm alright :)

Ok, just to be clear microwaved food and the george forman grill don't count. You have to use conventional means.

Yup. I consider myself a pretty darn good cook, actually. My specialties are Boeuf Burgundy (made with venison if I can get it), Chicken Paprikash, and Normandy-style fish soup.

I will never understand why people think cooking is hard. I haven't found anything I haven't been able to cook! :p

I can follow a recipe and do a fairly good job of it. If it calls for a "pinch" of anything, though, I am screwed. I can't just throw things together and make it come out good. If I have a recipe to follow, no problem at all.

Stir-fry and Pasta. Ummm steak and other BBQ'd stuff.

Stir-fry is SO easy that it's unbelievable. Also it's very good for 'trying new things out' and still coming out good -- experimenting with spices, sauces, and whatnot.

ohman...the secret to good spaghetti sauce is lots and lots of meat. Big meatballs and spare ribs. Plus it has to cook all day. Man, those spareribs are sooooo good when they've been cooking in the sauce for a day or so....drooooool.

Soup's another thing. The only one's I ever make are crab or crawfish or shrimp and corn bisque (which is super easy), chicken and dumplings (my specialty), and beef/venison stew. I'm not a big soup fan.

Great at cooking, not so good at baking. Specialties are burgers, Shoyu Chicken, Mushroom Chicken, steaks, crab pasta casserole, and quesadillas.

italian is my specialty....
i made seafood stuffed shell with cream spinach sauce last night. let's see...

Seafood conchiglie with spinach sauce
Feed 4 people
You need
1tbsp margarine or olive oil
8 spring onion finely sliced
1 large tomato
32 large conchiglie (or pasta shells, it?s about the size of a baby?s fist when not cooked)
1 cup low fat white soft cheese ( I used mazzarelle(sp?) but for some reason it was kinda thick)
6tbsp skimmed milk
pinch of nutmeg
2 cups of baby shrimp (should cook it in water beforehand)
6oz crab meat (could be from a can or fresh)
4oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
salt and pepper

melt margarine and gently cook the spring onions for 3- 4 minutes
heat a pot of water ,when it is boiling, before putting the pasta in, heat the tomato in pot for 45 seconds
what this does, is making the tomato loose and the skin of the tomato strip easily.. discard the skin and dice the tomato, wash it to get rid of the juice and seed

cook the pasta shells in boiling water for 10 minutes only, remove pasta to cool? at this time, if shrimp is not cooked yet, toss it in for a quick cook. now the sauce part, low heat skim milk and cheese in a saucepan..stir until blended? if it gets to thick..add more milk. Season with salt pepper and nutmeg? I think in the future I want to add tobasco sauce to just make it look a bit red/pink. Make sure you taste the sauce so it is the right seasoning. (not to salty)

now take out about 2 tbsp of the sauce and place it in a large bowl with spring onions, shrimp, crab, and diced tomatoes , this is the filling? mix it well ,stuff the filling in the now cooled shell. You can bake the shell in the oven if you want or microwave it before serving.
now the sauce part? the remaining sauce should still be warming on the stove? add spinach and stir it?continue to stir it?. Until it looks even? (I added slices of mushroom because it just looks good)

presentation?. Place 5 shells on the plate ?looks like 5 pointed stars, drip sauce in the middle?..that?s it.

hmm..hope i didn't make any typo
