Can you connect directly to an IP with UT2003 demo?

Is there a way just to type in an IP address in the demo so I can connect to someones computer without using gamespy? In UT I remember that you can.

Sure is. In the console type "open x.x.x.x" without quotes. Insert the ip you want.

Or add the host name or IP address to the command line, ie. "UT2003.exe x.x.x.x". Oh and BTW, to access the console, press TAB in the game, so you need to start (host) a new game to join an existing IP.
