can you connect 2 xbox to XBL through the same router?

Anubis

No Lifer
i was on my bro set his up and it booted me, now i cant connect
is this a known issue?

troubleshooter passes

cables connected
ip configured
and DNS resolved

but says XBL not found

you can probably only make one connection per public IP address. going thru a router would constitute 2 seperate connections from the same IP.

couldn't tell ya. it's just a theory of mine 😛

We have three Xboxs on our cable internet connection. The only problem is, with a 256k upload, our connection is terrible and we get dropped often. I wish we had a better UL and I'm confident we wouldn't have any problems.

To answer your question, it must be user error. 🙂

he might have had a bridge.

Check for what special programs your router is routing for. If the IP range falls under one specified for routing, it will route to only one system.

As in, once one of those special IP's is in use, the router only uses it for one system. Disable those things
