Im workin on some things for remembering some chemistry. Here's the letters (In order) That I need to remember.

Charge +1
1) Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr, Li

Charge +2
2) Ca, Sr, Ba, Ra, Mg, Be

Charge +3
3) B, Al

Charge -1
4) F, Cl, Br, I

Charge -2
5) O, S

Charge -3
6) N, P

If you can come up with a catchy sentence beginning with the letters provided, you get an imaginary cookie! Thx'z!
 
No we have to remember all of those. We have to know all Halogens, Noble Gasses, Metaloids, Alkaline Metals, Alkali Earth Metals, etc.. but the I need to remember the charges for balancing equations and these are the elements I needa consintrate on.

2. Can Sara bang me on the rag magnesium beryllium
3. Big Al.
4. Fvck clean bedrooms I sleep alone.
5. Operating System.
6. No Problem
 
Just remember where they are relative in the periodic table (photographically, a lot easier). (count how far they are away from the Noble Gases.)

Well I know their relative positions. But sometimes I'll get a +1 confused with a +2 by accident via photographical memory, it'll be close and in the ball park but sometimes off. I'd like to use this as a fallback.

dude it's not hard to memorize. i did that in 8th grade

i can help though:
