Can you change the Vista desktop background via a script?

I'd like to change the desktop background of Vista based off the time of the day automatically with a script of some sort. Anybody know if this is possible, and if so how? I imagine the Task Scheduler would be needed to kick off the script; it's writing the script that I'm at a loss on.
