Can you change drives after installing a game.

I installed a game with my CD-ROM drive and am experiencing some problems that make me suspect the drive may not be running right. I wanted to check the game performance on my faster DVD, but the game doesn't expect it there and won't run. Is there a way to alter this without reinstalling the game on that drive? I kinda doubt it but maybe somebody knows. Thanks

yeah if the drive letters are the same, then there shouldn't be a prob. just change the new drive's letter to the old one

Wow, that was incredibly informative WoodchuckCharlie - NOT!

Go into your Registry and edit the key that points to the CDROM drive for that particular game.

Thanks guys, and Rudee especially. I never edited my registry, but I'll try that.
