Yes I am in NY also.

Just curious as I am about to make a late booze run, and it made me think about Hawaii.

In Hawaii you can not buy alcohol of any kind after 11:45pm

if you want to take it home with you.. I have no idea about beer or wine, unless it's sunday in which case.. forget it, you shoulda planned ahead.. but in SC if you want strong spirits you best pick 'em up by 7pm, or you're out of luck.

California resident here... To this discussion I'd like to add that I believe it's ridiculous that some states restrict the times in which you can purchase alcohol, and even that some states have "dry counties". This in "the Land of the Free"... bleh.

Oregon-7am to 2am-bars and stores, Mon-Sat- Not sure what the restrictions are on Sundays. I think it's a little earlier for stores. Not sure if you can even buy hard alcohol on Sundays. May be the same as stores on Sunday, tho.
