I'm about to buy a keyboard that is only offered as USB, i was wondering if is easy to just buy a P2/2 converter? Are they cheap? Will buying a seperate one diminish any performance? Sorry if the question is dumb, but I gotta know. Thanks as always.

Try a Radioshack or a local computer building business. One of those should have what you are looking for. It is possible that Best Buy or Circuit City has what you're looking for, but less likely.

I got a converter with my MS Intellimouse Explorer, and on the bottom of the mouse it says USB and PS/2 compatible, (I use the PS/2) and the PS/2 converter came with the mouse.

Same here. I don't think they would be expensive, too.
