I have W10 Home. Win Update already downloaded the update to my pc, however i was able to delay the actual install for a couple of days.

Is there still a way for me to block windows from installing this update? I really don't want it.

Is it true btw the install of this update can take like 6 hours?

If you have an SSD like me it only took about 15 minutes to install the update. Even on slow laptop 5400RPM hard drives the longest i've seen it go is about 1 hour.

The only way to stop it for good is to disable the 'Windows Update' service. But then you won't get other security updates or Windows Defender updates.

Make a Boot SSD with Win10 having an empty margin of about 5GB and it will not install large Updates. Then use a second SSD for saving and storing.
