Can you block a number from calling your cell phone?

I have a certain person who calls me 2 or 3 times a week and I wanna block them. How can I?

Oh, yeah, I have a Motorola V190 Cingular phone.

Thanks,
Jeff

I'd like to know also. It annoys the hell out of me that there is no block option. If there is it seriously needs to be more apparent. I've looked all over.

If you have a "ring differently per contact" add them to your address book, and set the ringtone to "Mute" 😛

Or call your cell provider and say "can you block 123-456-7890 plz kthxbai"

Add them to you address book and set their ringer ID to 'Silent'. They can still call, but at least it won't ring.

So...I guess the answer is "NO, there is no block option on the cell phone"...hmmm.

Uhh, yeah, I knew the options mentioned already but thx anyway.

It is not a bill collector calling, genius. If you can't say something good, just don't say anything.

I have a P990i, and on that you have an option to just let callers from you contacts to be allowed to call. Maybe your phone has something like that?

Some of the newer phones though, are coming out with blacklisting.
