You guys are bashing/praising this kid left and right. Have ANY of you guys even read his book? I don't even think so. So you guys are basically judging this kid since he's 14 and has his own book.

Yes, we are judging this kid since he's 14. That's EXACTLY the point. He's closer to the days when he believed in Santa Claus then he is to the day when he'll actually have a clue. At 14, kids are TOLD what to believe. This kid has no exposure to anything except what his elders tell him. He might as well be a Russian pulling his opinions from Pravda or an Islamic militant whose only knowledge of America comes from what the Imam tells him. He's completely clueless, at 14 EVERYONE is completely clueless. At least an 18 year old is clueless, but he's beginning to become clueless on his own and not just parroting back what he's been told to say.

Really? Maybe back in your day when you were 14 and you had no exposer to the outside world. On the internet, you have exposure to all the information, you can easily see all perspectives of the problem and draw your own conclusions.
When I was 14, I've always disagreed with my elder's extreme right winged judgements. I always had my own opinion, and I never listened to them. In fact, my grandma fits exactly your description of an ignorant 14 yr old. She reads one editorial on the newspaper about something, and she takes everything on there as a fact. If she wrote a book, you'd probably take her more seriously than a 14 yr old, when you never read either of them, based on your generalizations on age.
I bet you are one of those morons that talk down to 14 yr olds thinking they're some stupid dumb idiot that doesn't have a clue about anything because that's how you were when you were 14.
Yes in general, I agree that almost all 14 yr olds are ignorant a$$holes that just try to pose like everyone else, like you when you were 14. Though there are still many that are not like you. I was in debate club when I was in high school. I debated with many 14, 15, 16, 17 yr olds about political issues.

If you think you had a clue about the REAL world when you were 14, you merely prove my point about how utterly ignorant kids really are. EVERY 14 year old thinks he knows what he's talking about, not a single one does. Go out and live in the world before presuming to offer a qualified opinion about it.

Yes an ignorant 14 yr old that doesn't care about the real world and just listen to what they are told, are as ignorant as you just defined them. Although, if a 14 yr old was really interested in knowing about the real world, and read about it all day, I don't see how he could be more ignorant than an 80 yr old that is ignorant.

Do you guys really think he is anything other than a cookie cutter rightist pundit? Before answering that, read his columns (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/archives.asp?AUTHOR_ID=190).

The only thing that sets him apart from any other RWP is that he is 14yo. True, his is very eloquent in presenting his ideas, but the ideas don't have a single drop of originality or insighfulness in them. They the same things you can find in any other RWP's writings.

14 seems plenty mature to me for politics considering all politics seem to be coming from a 5 year old mentality, in my opinion.

Just because you are young doesn't mean what you publish will be garbage.

Mary Shelley was 19 when she wrote Frankenstein.

Age by itself has nothing to do with this. It's about political opinon. Show me one well respected 14 year old that writes political commentary.

He's 14, what insights is he going to tell me about homosexuality and abortion?

If one wants to hear the words of a know-it-all, who better than a Pubescant(sp) Teenage Boy?

Yes, that's exactly what we need; someone to spend all day reading on a subject they have NEVER experienced. Who better to tell us about the state of public schools than a 14 year old who's homeschooled?

Cliff Notes:

Having access to Google, an opinion, and a willingness to debate qualifies me.

*shrugs*

yeah, pretty much.

OK... Ok.. this is the thread ender right here...

I'd rather buy a book about the same subjects if ANY ATOT member would write one, because even though most ATOTers haven't experience much, but I'm sure the exposures are more than that 14 yrs old biotch. And at ATOTs, we read & form opinions about anything and everything, shiets that this kid would never even dream of...

ATOT rules.... THANK YOU.... AND GOOD NITE.....

(I always wanted to do that to an audience, this would do, for now)

I think it's a shame he gets a book deal while good writers starve. Then again, publishing companies put out so much crap, it doesn't really matter.

Anyone that wants to know what kids think should save themselves the money and just read ATOT.

most adults are too dense to know whats going on, why the hell would i care what a 14yr old says?
