I didn't post about this earlier because I didn't want to jinx it. On friday I had a job interview at a local real estate agency. The interview went very well. I heard from the owner in an e-mail later that evening saying that I interviewed well and he would like to talk to me over the weekend or Monday. I talked to him yesterday and he wanted me to go today to take some tests and to call him when I was finished taking the tests. Anyway, long story short.....he called me back today and asked when I wanted to start.

Soooooooo I start tomorrow morning. I'll be an administrative assistant for the real estate agency and possibly get my real estate license after a while, so I can pitch deals when he isn't there.

Keep your fingers crossed for me. Now isn't the time for my fibromyalgia to flare up or my body to give me fits! 🙂

I just got a promotion today.

Now time to start working for myself and say good bye to bossess for good.

Remind me again why I have you as an admin?! 😉

Thanks to everyone.

theprodigalrebel - Yeah, fibro is a real ball buster. I have that and arthritis and other stuff, but since coming back to California and getting out of the bad weather and stress of Virginia, I feel a lot better already.

I believe so, yes. *SOB* I think the business is pretty busy, but I suppose I'll have to see. Can you believe how long you and I have been talking about jobs and I finally have one? haha

Ross - You're lucky I  you. 😉 😀

Thanks, SS. 🙂

Jules - Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. 🙂

Okay, I have my lunch ready (I wonder how long doing everything the night before will stay in effect? lol), clothes picked out, I'm about to iron my pants (New clothes are always nice. I bought a few things on Sunday.), and then drag my happy ass to bed. 😀

Great first day. 😀 I get along with everyone and the job is fairly fast-paced which is sort of scary to learn, but makes the day go by quickly. 🙂

Yay!

Okay, just giving an update.

Love the job so far. It's amazingly busy...all the time, which is way better than being slow, right? I'm learning a ton about real estate. I also really like my boss and co-workers.

I'm at lunch right now, so I get to goof off on the computer. (My laptop at home isn't working right. The DC jack and/or motherboard needs replacing. *SOB*)
