this isnt my plan YET, but since i just saw a 'get out of verizon contract early' post on HD, and i dont know if this is verified, but at: dr. wireless they say at&t announced today they are launching (quoted from above mentioned site): September 4 AT&T Wireless Fires Back! Today AT&T Wireless officially launched their new GSM (Global System of Mobile) National Charter Plans which are every bit as remarkable as T-Mobile's recent offerings. Buy an Ericsson T-68i, Nokia 8390, Nokia 6590 or Siemens S-46 and you are eligible to choose one of two amazing rate plans. For minimal to moderate users, $39.99 for 1,000 Anytime Toll Free Minutes anywhere in the AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS coverage area. For power users like myself, how about UNLIMITED ANYTIME MINUTES for $99.99. Yes, Unlimited!!! These plans are available for a limited time on 1 or 2 year contracts. Activation fee is $36 per line. Currently all of the promotion phones also feature a $50 AT&T Wireless mail in rebate. If its true, that'll be my plan. =) that is all. ** cant verify at&t announced this officially yet ** btw, live in san diego.

With SprintPCS, I get:

200 daytime
2800 nighttime
Free long distance
Free/unlimited wireless web

..for $22/mo. + taxes. Got 2 other phones the same way.

Employee benefits (for being a Sprint partner) rule :)

Bingo, same plan I've got right now. Also something like 250 wireless web minutes or something like that, nothing I use...

Service is kinda sketchy, the university I go to actually has the only Sprint towers up anywhere within 100 miles, so unless you like roaming or using it around town it's worthless... but you can't beat the price

That's a pretty good deal. I have 600 anytime, 2400 nights and weekends. No roaming in the east coast. Paying $35 a month with Suncom
