Can you be cavity resistant if you have enough fillings?

The reason I ask is because as a kid, I had pretty weak teeth or something and would have a cavity or two everytime I would go to the dentist. I'm 24 now, and probably haven't had a cavity in around 6 years or so. My theory is since I have filled cavities in all my molars(sp?), there is no more room left for more cavities to develop? The outsides of all my teeth look basically regular, no stains or anything, just regular white-ish colored.

Having paid out around $3000 in dental work in the past year (not good for a starving actor...), I'll have to put down your theory. You can get a cavity -around- the filling(s). I'd recommend getting to the dentist every 6 months (You don't want to be paying through the nose for $800+ root canals later on). See if they'll get you some prescription strength flouridated toothpaste (probably around $5 if you go through them). All over the counter toothpastes have to be safe enough for a kid to ingest. Go for the stronger flouride stuff and help your teeth out.

When's the last time you went in?
