Can you assign an IP to a print server or do you have to use DHCP with them?

Hi, I was thinking about getting the Linksys WPS54G print server. My concern is that if I can't assign a static IP then it is useless to me since my network is run from a router that statically assigns IP and that is the way I will keep it. Please lmk what you think and if this unit can't be configured to work on this type of network please lmk what product will. Thanks

Assign to the printer a static IP that is within the subnet of the DHCP but out of the DHCP Range.

Example: If you DHCP is 198.168.1.1 to 198.168.1.10 assign 192.168.1.20 to the printer.

Your router's DHCP server doesn't do DHCP reservations?

My print servers use DHCP, but they have reserved IP addresses so they get the same one every time.
