hi, i was wondering if you can take a part of a computer out like RAM to inspect, then put it back in while the computer is off. Will you have to run all sorts of things to get the RAM reconized? THANKS

It will be fine to remove it while it is UNPLUGGED. ;) Newer (last 5 years) computers are always on to some extent while plugged in, so it is important that it is not just off, but unplugged before you start swapping parts.
