Can you add a PCI vid card toa system w/AGP card in order to have 2 displays for Flight Simulation games?

I am a big flight simulation game fan and my current systems has a celeron 600 oc'd to 900mhz and a ATI 32 mb DDR AGP video card. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to add another video card into one of the PCI slots in order to add a second monitor that could be used to provide another view in a flight simulator game. FOr example, I could have my forward/cockpit view in my main monitor connected to the AGP card. Then I could have my 6'0clock view on my second monitor connected to the PCI card. I believe you can do this if you have a video card that has two monitor outputs but I would rather not split the power of 1 card between 2 monitors. If it is possible to do this, does anyone know if the two cards have to be of the same brand. Can I have an ATI card in my AGP slot and a NVidia card in my PCI slot? If anyone has successfully done this, do you have any recommendatins for a good PCI card for this?

I'm running my ATI AIW pro 128 AGP card as my primary vid card and a permedia 2 PCI card with a secondary monitor. Two cards + two monitors = one big desktop which I love. Depending on the OS you are using, it is possible to have two monitors. I dual boot ME and 2kpro, both of which support the dual monitor feature. I'm also pretty sure than win98 allows you to have to monitors.

As far as the games giving you different displays, I read somewhere that microsoft's flight simulator allows this as a particular feature. I'm at work right now, but I've got some links that I can send you once I get home. One thing I have found out though is that ATI cards don't like to be secondary displays, this means you'll have to set your bios to detect video from the agp slot first before looking at your pci slots. Once you do this and install a second card, you should be all set. Taking for granted that you're running one of the operating systems I listed.

Can you hook up 3 monitors? :Q

Say in a racing game, have the "center" monitor for front view and the other monitors for left/right rear view.
