Can XP Full (Corporate Version) do an "Upgrade"

I would like to try an upgrade from 98SE to XP before I wipe things clean. If it does not go in right, I will do a clean install, but I always like to try for the hell of it.

I have a full corporate version on the way and am wondering if upgrading is an option. I know that the full version of Win2K and ME would not do an upgrade.

Anyone know?

Thanks,

LJ

i'm pretty sure there is an "upgrade" option with the full version of XP. you'll know if you instert the CD and it asks if you want to "upgrade" to this newest version of windows.

Thanks. I know a clean install is the best, but there is really nothing to lose except time by trying the upgrade.

I know that there is an upgrade version that will work, but not sure if the full version will. I upgraded from win2k to winxp with my full version, but not sure if it would have gone from win9x though.

YA it will work Corp edition is the same as the retail and OEM except for 6 different files that handle the WPA. Use the personal file backer wizard or what ever its called and let it save everthing before you upgrade.
