Was at CompUSA and played with a MacOSX running on a 23" widescreen apple monitor. All I gotta say was HOLY GODDDAMMNNNN THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. I noticed that MacOSX allows you to blend and change wallpapers automatically because I was just messing around and the wallpaper kept fading in and out to different ones. Can WinXP do this?

Yeah because the sole purpose of a $3000 machine is so you can stare at the wallpaper fading in and out all day. ROFLfelafel.

Ever heard of a screensaver?

Well with the amount of crap people install on their PC's I wouldn't be surprised.

OSX will let you run 3D apps as your desktop wallpaper. A popular one is the acquarium screensaver.. it's a trip seeing realistic fish moving around on your desktop...

A very pricey kick in the ass but it's still a good one.

As long as that's all you're doing, too. Other than image manipulation, Macs BLOW.

Webshots desktop can change the desktop but I doubt it had any fancy blending options. It also has tonnes of desktops for download.

There are some "advances" that aren't worth the time. Saying that has the same effect of saying "you can get tires that are more black on a Dodge Neon than you can on a Viper GTS! The Viper is simply inferior on this!"

WHO CARES about the 3d accel. effects in the gui!? Well, I guess some would. But if it influences your purchase in any way, you have some seriously messed up priorities. :p
