can windows resize my image to best fit my monitor

hi just went up to 1280x1024 and i want to know if windows can resize my image to fit nicely on my monitor when i use the settings on the monitor it doesnt just look right

maybe its just me

Make sure the resolution of the image is 1280x1024. If it's not, then it's gonna look zoomed in.
