I'm trying to setup my server to have a few playlists multicasting on my network. I'd then like my computers to be able to open the stream using windows media player (or more importantly windows media center) using just a playlist that links to the stream. It seems like either this isn't possible or it is so easy there there is no documentation to support it.
In VLC I just open udp://239.255.255.0:1234 and it starts playing. Is there a way to do that in windows media player?
