How can i boot a pc running in win98 without pluging in a monitor?
is it possible?
I am trying to run a file server for it.
thanks.

doesnt win98 ask for a login and password if its connected to a LAN? sorry for the dumb question, cuz if it does then the monitor would be your second prob. and to the best of my knowledge (which goes to show you, it isnt much) ive always thought they can.

i did not set a password for win98...just using the default name and hit enter will do...
but after hitting enter...it is not showing on network...so i guess it is a monitor problem.

Install TweakUI and you can set it so Windows automatically logs on for you - saves you having to press Enter.

When a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, will it make noise?😉

Just to clarify, I'm talking about a tree crashing; not windows (that never crashes!!)
