is it bandwidth or bandwith? anyways.
July 2, my DSL will be activated and Next Friday I will setup a computer with win2k. This computer will be used as the ICS server. One of the things I want it to be able to do is limit/cap the amount of bandwith each computer on the network recieves. Is this possible? I just want each computer to recieve no more than 500kbits/s. I don't want the win2k server to be capped though.

It can't do bandwidth throttling, but it may be able to perform some QoS. You may need server for this.

What you need is Microsoft ISA server from the new backoffice server family product. You would actually limit the bandwidth from the ISA server. Don't know if this is too much a hassle for you :) The product itself usually cost $1700 ?
