Can websites add itself to the Firefox's 'Allow Popups' List?

I'm getting popups from www.tvtorrents.com and a few other sites. So I checked my allowed sites list and saw that tvtorrents, proxyweb.net, and another was on the list, and I know I didn't knowingly put them there. Anyone having the same problem?

Run the scan described in this text file and see what it picks up. There was a StartPage trojan that did naughty stuff no matter what browser you had... maybe it spawned :Q If so, this may pick it up.
