Czar, I think its time that you tell your butler to polish your Bentley. You live too comfortable a life to not criticize others. You live too far up the hill for others to see. Let's not forget that these are the same people that refuse to believe the bin Laden tapes to be genuine. Before we invade the Saudi Kingdom with an army of lawyers, there will have to be an investigation. I'm very confident that there will be a money trail between 1993 and 9/11.
 
I am no troll. It's only a matter of time before the victims' families start suing this animal and his family. If they can sue United Airlines, then they can sue the Binladen Group. Who knows, they might even sue the Wahhabis for promoting terrorism. They'll probably go as far as suing Afghanistan. However, I believe that in the latter two cases, the U.S. State Department will step in the way and prevent the families from getting the assets of those parties. The State Department will just end up paying the amount the plaintiffs win, as in the Sokol case (spelled something like that). That case involved a terrorist act in Israel by a Palestinian group that was actively supported by Iran. The family won against Iran but they State Department paid the bill (for the Iranians).
 
before you post, read the previous posts. Like I said before, it has nothing to do with victims getting money. It has everything to do with punishing them, the binLaden clan (the American way).
 
Dude, get over it, bad, not thought out idea. It makes no sense, and the reason that his family in the US left was because they were concerned for their own safety from people like you, Rison. And no, I don't like on the west coast, I lost family and friends in it, I felt the one that hit at the pentagon while in my biology class, I could smell the smoke in my room a week after it happened. We were all affected by this and don't label people when you don't know them.
 
I don't think there's any point of suing Bin Ladens' family, since they were not directly involved in terms of terrorism attack. And if you say that we should sue, then by your definition we should also be able to sue the Oklahoma bomber's family, the families of the shooters of Columbine, and heck while we're at it I guess we can also sue the family of the killers at the Wendy's massacre after all I used to eat there all the time.

and yes, i'm from NYC also. and I'm someone who has volunteered at Ground Zero. So from one New Yorker to another.....go fuk off cause I don't like your attitude. Hey can I sue your family cause I don't like your attitude?
 
Someone has to pay. Bin Laden is the most obvious target. there are other shadow supporters. There are other terrorist organizations waiting in the wings for other strikes. There are arab businessmen that support terror. They, too, are waiting in the wings, to further support the terrorists. Everyone is waiting for things to calm down. We can't forget. They can't forget. We must set legal examples (like the military examples we set in Afghanistan). There has to be a legal fallout.
 
Anyone that provided resources (arms, cash, housing) to terrorists must pay a price. No one that actively supports terrorism will escape the wrath of America. You guys can be content with Afghanistan, but i won't be. There has to be other fronts. The casual supporter of terrorism must realize that there will be consequences. once an investigation finds their paws on the (money) trails or they've admitted guilt, we must punish them, if not neutrally then financially.
 
WAKE UP AMERICA. This is a war we're going through, and I'm not talking about Afghanistan. We are in the early stages. this is the WAR OF ATTRITION. (Look up what 'attrition' means if you're not familiar with the term.) We are in this for the long-term. We are hated because of our success. Others resent our power. But they can't defeat us outright. So, they've decided to make this a granular battle. This war will last a long,long time. It is a war between peoples. They want to destroy little by little. We have to understand this to deal with it. You guys that want to forget and move on with your life will regret it later on if, once your back is turned, terrorism finds legitimacy and a new name. Destroying them with all of our available means (democracy, military strength, lawsuits, alliances, among others) is the only way to rid this world of such cancers. I doubt that Al-Qaeda is a short-term problem (though I hope I'm wrong) and we must engage the world with our means to win this War of Attrition.
