Can we stop the daily "hot deal" posts for woot.com?

It's getting to be an everyday occurance. If you posted one time about a site that you thought had great deals or if they had a one-time great deal I could see making a post. It's like he must post the same thing in mulitple forums to pimp his deal site and woot in particular. It just seems to me that the poster is less than altruistic. I'm not sure if it's against the forum rules, but it is annoying.

This particular one was a woot-off...they dont have them veyr often, but this one lasted a little longer than normal....deal with it, at least its all in one thread

Annoying as they are, at least it's only one thread a day as opposed to the tens, hundreds, thousands of "OMG Dell has another coupon which is the same as yesterday's coupon which is the same as last week's coupon and which we can't post here but if you'll just go to my site (no, MINE!, NO! MINE!) you can get this coupon but hurry because it's only good for a million uses or until a new coupon gets issued tomorrow when we can all post all over again."

Man?? Wow, that's news to me. I was under the impression that allisolm was a she.

Just do a search on hot deals for woot. There's a stream of post from the same person and most of them are not woot-offs. There's even one for a mediocre deal posted today. I do not mind having the woot-offs posted as a reminder because they occasionally have hot deals. However regular updates on whats being sold on woot.com, if posted, should at least be hot deals.

Just because woot sells one product per day should not mean they can advertise on our hot deals forum. What if every day the same person posted newegg's latest One-Day-Sale?

Then again the author (whatsyourdeal) does post other actual hot deals, too.

I think part of the problem with the woot.com posts is that the deals aren't even hot. It's always an unintersting refurb'd item for only like ~5% less than you can find using Froogle. Woo, an out dated projector. Woo, a travel shaving kit.
