Can we search a single thread?

Sometimes a single thread becomes a valuable resource for a specific topic or product. I'm thinking of the following thread under the Motherboards forum.
**Official Epox 8K5A Series (KT333) Thread** (Files, Reviews, and Info Inside!)
It would be useful to search such a long thread to find specific references without reading the entire thing. Can I suggest such a search feature be made possible or did I overlook an already existing search option?

Wrong place for suggestions to Fuse Talk but if you use IE you can use Ctrl - F to search the thread.

Wrong, you use that to search a page, not a thread. If a thread had 20 pages you've got to do that on each page.

i really don't think there's a way to do this. It'd be most efficient to use Ctrl-F if you changed your settings ("customize" button) to show 100 posts per thread page. I know what you mean though, it's very frustrating to find stuff in long threads.. thank god most threads are 3-4 pages at most.

What's the difference?

Say a thread is 20 pages long. you'd have to do Ctrl-F on each page of the thread to find what you're looking for. He's looking for a way to just search the thread ONCE and find what he needs.

Which actually I just realized is fairly easy. Click on the print icon (Print Thread). This will popup a new window with the entire thread in it, without page breaks. Then do Ctrl-F to find it within that window.

bizmark, I never clicked on the 'print thread' icon. It's a way to do what I want.
Thanks.
