Can we please have some moderation in thread locking?

All night the mods have been going crazy locking up threads that are apparently harmless, and seem to have no problem without explanation...even when they are relevant an on topic.

Any explanation...are the mods just out for blood?

What if someone crosses the line and makes a thread about women & poop, TOGETHER! Wow, we could all die!
 
Poop, women, whatever...it is off topic, which means, post anything you want (within reason). At least make a requiremetn taht mods give an explanation for why they are locking the thread. Otherwise how do you expect people to change their behaviour?

It would seemt hat the Mods are doing just that. Of course, they are using their reasoning.

Imagine how I feel! I thought for a minute that I was actually complaining about the mods locking poop threads instead of cheering. 😕
 
It is not always so easy for them to give reasons on why they lock stuff. I know this is gonna sound like a complaint, but I promise it is not.

Mods are voluntary. And what is offensive to one might not be offensive to another... therefore, the is not always consistency. It is hard for one mod to lay down a hard and fast rule and another one to lay down another set that might conflict with the first. Therefore, they just lock em as they find em.

I brought up the same comment that you just did. Only one thing different...it got locked and I was unable to post for a week. You do it and guess what.... nothing happens...go figure!!! Double standards and preferential treatment...oh well, guess I better get ready for the lightning bolt from the mods again...

why do i even waste my time on this...it serves no useful purpose, cept to get it off my chest for I have seen so many inequites
