can we no longer update thread titles?

Shows up on the FS board with old title but i have edited the title since creating this thread.

should i just close this FS thread and create a new one?

IANAM, but I believe the ability to edit thread titles times out after a set period of time.

Any idea how long that is? Never had this happen previously that I can recall, and my current FS/FT thread is less than two months old...but I now cannot change the thread title.

EDIT: In any case, I just created a new thread and will let the old one drop. Just curious if this is the new timing on title changes...

Why has no mod responded to this question? There have been enough posters and viewers to warrant a response, I'd say.

No, just create a thread in MD with a link to the thread and the new title you want then someone will take care of it.

Some people wanted to troll via the titles.

If the system would allow changes on a sub forum basis; then it might be acceptable.

Put in a request for such.

However, a person clicking on the new title will see either an original post date and choose to then ignore the thread.
