Can we have the "Attach Code" feature in Forum Issues?

I was trying to reply to a persons thread with the correct code for a signature but it kept formatting the link because I couldn't just add it as code. A small feature but useful I think, especially in this forum.
 
FYI, if they won't put attach code in here you can get around it by using the bold trick

The parser will only pass through text once so those additional empty bold tags messes up the parsing on the other stuff. This allows you to display all the fusetalk code you want.

Edit: I fixed it so that quoting will now work to see what I was talking about. See post below.

So someone tell me why actual code attachment is still turned off in most of the forums? It would be nice in Highly Technical forums...
