I dont know who would be able to do this but it would be neat if we Brits could have a Uk flag like you guys have a US flag instead of the little cartoon head. Seems when the s**t flys we seem to be the ones involved. Would just like to be a bit Patriotic

Yep, I used to have a shirt with the flag of the UFP on it. It looks kind of like the UN flag.

Curious issue here - "can of worms" as you call it - so, if we're not going to add any additional flags, thus possibly alienating some countries who wish to show their patriotism, perhaps the other option would be to remove the American flag icons? I understand that it's an American-based forum, but there's people here from all over the world. Just a thought.:)
I'd like a UN flag icon too though, if there's going to be lots of them added.;)

It IS a good idea . . . and even the more ridiculous comments serve to "bump" your thread . . .

However, it might start a "trend" with request for flags of all nations (except France - currently) . . . :D

It`s a good idea,as a long term AT member that`s also British I wouldn`t mind a UK flag,remember if you don`t ask you don`t get ;).

Well, this is the right place for the suggestion. ;)

And I haven't seen a single negative post (well, not counting the original poster who seem to have "chickened out") regarding the Union (Jack) Flag.

Do a search for the thread adding the American flag Icon, it was added after 9/11 as a show of solidarity, it has nothing to do with the war in iraq.

Yes, I understand that; it seems to have taken new meaning now though with the war.
