Can we get a sub forum for software release notes?

I'm getting tired of having so many posts in the Software For Windows forum that are just putting a link to the same download page for a piece of software just because a new version is released. Can we get a new place to store these? That way we can keep the software forum to actually discussing issues/trends about software.

We'll have a talk with the usual parties and see if we can't tone it down.
