If a thief were to say attempt to harm a blind person, is the walking dog trained in any way to start attacking or call for help in this situation?

I'm sure as a criminal that could make for an easy, albeit incredibly f'ed up, mark since he'd be certain to get away with it.

It depends if the cell phone is compatible or if it's like most phones and doesn't have the translation software built in it.

Seeing eye dog. Any dog with functional legs is a "walking" dog. I imagine a seeing eye dog would defend their master in the event of an attack, but I can't imagine anyone low enough to attack a blind person with a seeing eye dog to start with.

I'm sure most dogs would attack if their owner was being attacked. At least larger dogs would.

Agreed, and they don't even need all 4. I've seen a 3 legged dog that could "walk" too.

Most criminals don't really have any morals. Easier the better....they mostly target the elderly which cannot defend themselves and any theft is usually out of their savings.

My grandmother just turned 80 and right after some dude asked her to help jump start his car. He stole $720 from her purse while she was helping. It was columbus day and she had made money from a traveling bazaar that came to her town she rented a booth in.

Fortunately in a non-related event she found out her and my deceased grandfather were awarded $5000 each in a class-action cancer treatment lawsuit.

Thieves really don't care how bad off someone is as long as they have what they want.

I remember reading a story about a dude who got called by some chicks to kill a SPIDER and then he never updated his thread.

In my experience, although not as dangerous, smaller dogs can be just as vicious as large ones.
