Can video card fans be replaced?

I've been trying to reduce the volume from my computers, and have found that the fan on my computer's X800XL video card is the noisest component. Is it possible to replace the fan with something quieter?

The Zalman VF-900 CU and the Arctic Cooling ATI Silencers are both good.

You didn't specify if your X800 XL was PCIe or AGP, so I'm not sure what will fit.
