I was looking at a moto G, MOTXT1028PP from Verizon, it is going for $40, and is a pre-paid phone.
I know the boost mobile version of this device can be used as a media device, but, I have no idea how the Verizon pre-paid phones work.
Does this phone need activation or anything like that before you can use it for anything, or can I just skip activation, and use it as a wifi only device with no intention of ever doing anything with it except stream stuff to it via LAN?
