no that ram will probably give you around 220-230mhz ar CL3. Mine will only do 220 at 2.8v at CL3 so don't expect a big OC out of these things. But all you have to do is run the memory at a slower speed than the FSB and your set. Thats what I do.

from what I hear it's fine unless you want high score to post on here; otherwise, it's cool.

The Ram I'm thinking of getting:

Anyway, question is: Can I get a ~40% overclock with this kind of value ram?

Thats exactly the memory i bought last week... Last parts arrived today, and tomorow my case should be here and i should be putting evrything together by end of week. Check the sig for my rig, exact thing as urs. Hope i can get to 2.4ghz stable ...

I wish u luck... pls u wish me luck too :)

Do A64's not take the big performance hit that socket A systems do when running RAM/FSB async?

I got premium ram, -have to clock it down from specs to run stable. From now on, I'll get cheaper ram.. just NOT Kingston.

Last I checked they lost almost no performance running async because of the on die memory controller.
