Can USB be converted to cat5 for long runs?

We are trying to connect a touchscreen to a display that is located quite a ways away from the machine that drives it. Due to the distance, USB isn't a viable option. I was wondering if a hub exists that will take a usb cable as input and transmit over cat5. Then another such hub would be used close to the computer to convert the cat5 back into USB.
 
$99 is peanuts. If it is a business expense, it is less then peanuts. 🙂
