I need to buy my friend a gift, and i thought of getting PS2. But 300$ doesn't come along easy. CAn u help me find a cheaper price if your not busy?

Yeah, this isn't the place for this, so just a piece of advice before you get alot of people coming in trying to flame you, is to edit the title of this post to something like "Wrong Forum - sorry" and then repost it in the I Wanna thread.

But since it hasn't been locked yet, if you were interested in getting the best deal for a PS2, the best I've seen is getting one at Virgin Megastores if you have an Amex Blue card. You should check out the post here. Basically it's the PS2 at $210 (30% off).

3) Go to Virgin Megastore
4) Buy a PS2 for 30% off
5) A month from now, use AMEX Blue's price-protection when Sony drops the price of the PS2 to compete with the XBOX.
6) Sell PS2
7) Buy an XBOX.

Then buy at a participating store.
Basically $50 off, or ps2 for $250.

Can someone explain how to buy GC's at gc.com for the reduced rate? Is there some sort of formula for buying them? How much will $350 worth cost me?
