I bought the professional single edition, and it updates once a day :) Never had a problem :)

yes. since i cant do it through the software, i went to the web page, click on the 'updates' link, and downloaded the newest updates. then placed the file in my 'update' folder for avg, and opened up the program. and then it updated it with the latest definitions!

edit: taken from 'software - apps, etc...' category...
