Can Trump make Executive order, to shut down P&N and other free/open news/discussion sources
It would be "ironic", in that P&N has discussed Trump so much, in recent times.
It is NOT so far fetched (hopefully it IS too far fetched. But Trump has only been in power for a number of days, so where exactly is the US heading, what is Trump going to suddenly do next ?). Because China has banned things like youtube (even using VPN's to access it there). Also ironically, countries like China, are actually more free than the supposedly free US of A at the moment. In some respects (but probably NOT in an overall sense).
E.g. If you are a brilliant/famous/important Iranian (and other nationalities) Dr/Scientist/Engineer/Politician, who has never been in trouble with any authorities, anywhere, ever. Who has 100% legitimate travel papers, including passport, US Visas, etc.
Who wouldn't hurt a fly, and is important to Americas future success, in medical/electronic/computing fields etc.
Freedom is extremely important, and America seems to be rapidly becoming a non-free country. In at least my opinion.
Closing of P&N might be via a general restricted Internet access system, possibly becoming reality in America, in the next 4 or 8 years. E.g. By claiming P&N is a source of "Fake news".
