can this psu run an 8800gt

I have an NZXT PP500 watt psu http://www.nzxt.com/products/pp500/

can i run an evga 512 8800gt?

i have an nforce 570sli mobo, amd 5000+ 64x2 cpu, 1 300gig sata drive, and 1 dvd burner, 1x 120mm fan, 2x 80 mm fan, usb mouse and keyboard. im upgrading from my 8600gts, everything worked fine.

so i have 2 12v rails rated at 16 and 17volts a piece. That is enough for my 8800gt? Thanks!

Hope the 12V rails are not puching 16 and 17 volts. I'm sure you mean amps and yes you should have no problems.

No its not over 30A. You are adding the amperage rating of the rails together. That is not what determines the max output of the 12V rails. That 16A and 17A rating per rail is the max each rail is rated to handle. Now if NZXT provided the right information on the label or on there site the we would know the max output of the combined 12V rails. As it is they don't make mention of the total wattage being supplied to the combined 12V rails.
