Can this Notebook be upgraded?

Ok so,

First of all, do me a quick favor, download CPUZ(free tool)
So we can find out what ram you have and which processor.

Second, is the CPU upgradable? Well lets see which one it is first, they produced 2 different models.

Open it up and check the CPU area to see if you can yank out the CPU, and I believe this laptop uses DDR2 PC4200 modules.

Wait a second, isn't that laptop the one from Black Friday sale at Best Buy? Anyways, 1.5 Hour battery life...sh!t.

If this forum allowed external images/custom smileys, there'd be a 512-pixel-wide disgust.gif right here.

The Celeron M... she has no SpeedStep 🙁

My Gateway notebook lasts twice as long and it has a Celeron M too.

RMClock - a more brute-force method of getting more battery life.
My laptop's battery is a few years old, and it gets less than an hour of battery life. If I slow it down to about 450MHz (It's a 2GHz P4), then I can take notes in class and get at least 2hrs out of it, probably more. Not the greatest solution, but it is cheaper than a new battery.

I really appreciate the feedback.
Will do on the software d/l, check of hardware.

YES, the battery life sucks horribly, but for that amount of scratch and new, why not.
I'm assuming I can buy a new aftermarket, longer lasting battery for this model?
