Can this laptop be overclocked?

It's a Compaq Presario 1230, with a Cyrix 233mmx chip. Is the chip soldered on, can I OC it?

Am I stuck?

very much doubt it & suggest you not even try!

only way you can overclock it is with SoftFSB or a similar prog, but you'll probably have a helluva time finding the correct MOBO file for it.

That being said, I wouldn't even bother trying. Craptops don't OC. Just a rule of life.
