Can this budget laptop play latest games ?

Can this run games like Far Cry 3,Tomb Raider,Bioshock Infinite,Watch Dogs,etc at medium settings ?

It will play them, but not sure how good the experience will be. For some of the most demanding current games you might have to go to low settings, even at that low resolution. As for watchdogs, the specs are exceedingly high for the CPU, so who knows.

More info would be helpful, like what is the price of that laptop, what is your total budget, and could you use a desktop instead.

Budget is $700 and I am from India.There is one more laptop within my budget Lenovo Z500 has core i5-3230m,4gb ddr3 and NVIDIA gt740m so which one will be better for gaming ?
I already have a desktop with Intel g630,8gb ddr3 ram and radeon 7750 ddr5 so I am looking for something similar in performance in a laptop.

The lenovo will be significantly better. Muct stronger CPU and the 740m is better than the 8670m.

Try looking for Lenovo Z510 (i5-4200M, 6GB Ram, 1TB + 8GB SSHD, GT740M 2GB)
If you found one with a good price just go for it; it is a great laptop

Is there any ranking of graphic chipsets for laptops (in terms of 3d games performance)? I'm also looking for a laptop that can run recent games, but would prefer something a bit less expensive than the Z510.
