Can this be fixed?

I went to plug in the power cable for the second internal drive and part of it snapped. I did not force anything so I don't why it happened. Can this be glued back together? I know I would need to be careful and not use too much.

Here is a pic:

See how it has come apart on the top side of it. Can that be super glued back together and still be useable?

If you did not force it it is probably a faulty connector. You could ask if they would accept an RMA. If theres a weakness in the design or component they would like to hear about it.

I got it glued back together, I will just make a point not to use that connector.

I didn't think about RMA'ing it. Maybe I should have as I have been having other issues but not sure if it is PSU related.

When I first read that, I thought you meant the PSU. I was like wait a minute, then I figured out you are talking about the cable itself.

I don't why I didn't think about this before but it came with an extra sata power cable. I will just switch them out.

That plastic doesn't glue together very strongly, so you may want to put a plastic wire tie around it if you have to use it on a drive. The connector may be made of nylon, which is best repaired by melting it with a small soldering iron.
