Can this be done?

I have a two computer network. The first is running Windows Me and connects to the internet using a modem. The second formerly had been running Win 98 SE. I have recently installed NT Server 4.0 on the second computer to practice working with it. The two computers are connected without a hub with a crossover cable. Previously the second computer would connect to the internet through ICS. Now I want the NT Server machine to connect through the lan using the Win Me machine's ICS. How can I get this to work? The reason I don't to use a modem to dial my ISP with the NT Server machine, is that I want to use the modem in it to dial into it remotely. Am I making any sense?

In other words, can I share the internet connection on the Win Me machine with a Win NT Server machine? Do I need a third-party software like WinGate or WinProxy?

Thanks for any help

Just do ICS like you normally do. I think this is the setup you have in mind:

Internet<---WinME Box<---NT4

Is this correct? Just give the NT box a non-routable IP address and set the default gateway to whatever the WinME box's IP address is.
